Ouch,

So Shawna, I have been working out every day, some rare occasions twice a day, like today for instance if I can pull it off will be Plyometrics and a Spin Class this evening.

Yesterday was my first day of Month 2 of P90X, it’s amazing how after the completion of Month One doing P90X you think to yourself… I’ve got this, I’m not even SORE anymore! Then boom they switch it up on you and you’re staring at Tony Horton going, “Plyo Pushups… you want me to do a pushup catapulting my entire body off the floor, clap in the air and catch myself back down into a pushup? Hmmm.

Every move I make today reminds me that P90X has got me again, oh Tony how I love you. Two more weeks of this and I’ll be jumping over to P90X 2 and uploading photos, yikes and personal information.

I’m heading to NY this Friday, I’ll try and post from there, I plan to run in the park and hit the gym, go hiking, fishing etc. Workout every day!

Until then <3

To all of my 1 …

To all of my 1 readers… (Hi twin!) I’ve given myself 6 weeks of P90X to bounce back into shape and lose 8lbs before I start P90X2. February 15th is my P90X2 start date goal in which I will be photographing and blogging about daily, maybe even a sweaty video may work itself in from time to time but I’ll give you my trials and tribulations real time as they occur,

Hope you enjoy Shawna ;)

I can’t believe I’m posting about Christmas.

You’re expecting some amazing cooking gadget or favorite pair of boots or some functional, make your life easier method or way.

No my friends, it’s much more simple than that. First of all, just know that I dislike Christmas to a level that I won’t divulge…  but moreover it just feels terribly inconvenient to me most years (don’t worry this get’s better).

Furthermore I no longer participate in Kris Kringle or Secret Santa here at work because I’ve been burned… too many times. In short, when I write my list of do NOT’s and candy/chocolate or anything mint (aside from gum) are the only items on it. WHY oh WHY would you decide to buy me a Dollar Store TUB of hard peppermint candies?!? That is not what I want to find on my desk first thing in the morning, especially since it promptly went into the trash.  This was the year that the Secret Santa moderator (special email address and everything)  actually kicked my person out of ever participating in future Secret Santa’s at work and then later got fired… I’m not sure how related his firing was but I’m sure it had something to do with it. ;)

Bringing me to my point, Elfster. This is an online Secret Santa site where you invite a group of people, set rules, people join, an auto selection happens giving you your person you are Secret Santa to, with the ability to anonymously ask them questions directly, create your own profile and wish list (with links to websites to buy them from) group question posting etc.

I have a group of internet friends I met on a Destination Wedding Forum back while planning my wedding and what a great group of girls, it pains me that we span all over the US & Canada or else I would have met them by now. They do meetups a few times a year, one of which I WILL attend and every year they do Elfster.

Against all my feelings of NOT wanting to do another Secret Santa, I decided to join and I’m so happy I did! We have cute questions and discussions every day which helps me get to know all these girls just that much better.

If you don’t have a system in place for friends across the country and perhaps don’t have a lot of money to spend, this is the perfect solution. Even better, if you didn’t feel like creating a profile and uploading a photo, no problem, connect with your Facebook, done & done.

Happy Secret Santa-ing!
